Welcome to my mind.... Bwahahahaha!
So, I created this space as a place to store, stew over, and (gulp!) solicit feedback on things I am working on but have not yet decided exactly what I want to do/where to go with. "Things" might be recipes, party ideas, random musings, or infrequent and timid stabs at creative writing. In the vein of Red Green, who says, "If the ladies don't find us handsome, at least they can find us handy," I hope you will find them --at most-- occassionally insightful, partially useful, or somewhat interesting . . . or --at least-- marginally mockable.
Here is my attempt to capture some of today's thoughts and feelings after church:
The Sacrament
I am a sponge, gradually
Devoid of Water.
Weekdays drying slowly despite
Desperate clinging
To daily doses of dewy moisture
Found on my Knees.
Stone by Saturday-
Hard; Stiff; Parched...
Air-pocked and Empty.
Sunday's O'er running Cup
Brims and Softens me,
Salting my eyes...
Living Water
